I have officially "made it," readers! By which I mean I'm getting published in a paid journal, as opposed to my own blog and Rochester Red Star, which at least when I was writing and editing for them, published any contributions from dues-paying members of DSA.
The piece in question is one I'm very excited about and have in fact pitched before. It's a short critical essay/article about Unknown Armies' shock gauges and how they are a better model of trauma than can be found in the DSM.
It will be in the first issue of Playtest Material, which I believe will be releasing September and will be free online. I'm looking forward to seeing what else is in the journal; I know there's going to be a piece by Jellyfislines as well, who does good work and who I'm excited to be published alongside.
